Character study of "Spert" the Spertus

This Artwork is a character study, based off a description in the book series Shadow of the Gods and Hunger of the Gods by John Gwynne. I thought it was such a cool character, a sort of depressive grump who is extremely loyal and will use deadly force to protect his freiends, if he can being himself out of bed to do so. Anatomically he seemed really fun to have a go at drawing as he is a wasp beetle like creature with an old mans face that is sort of drooping like a pug.
